Online payment company PayPal has temporarily suspended certain services in India. In the company’s blog, spokesperson Anuj Nayar has said that the personal payments services have been suspended. The blog says that the customers can make commercial payments to India, but withdrawals will not be possible.
The services of the EBay owned PayPal have been suspended from January 28. The blog does not specify for how long the situation will remain. Nayar has said that he will update the blog with information. He said that they would work with their business partners and others to address issues they have regarding the service.
Nayar said in the blog, “We’re trying to resolve the situation as quickly as possible and we’re really sorry for the inconvenience that this may cause our customers in India and around the world.”
